A Short Drive into the Cascades

Good Morning Ted and Jody:

It rained all of yesterday morning.  Then when I went to town to meet Nancy, who was teaching a sewing class, for lunch, it began to clear between fronts.  Between fronts offers some neat photo opportunities.  Since Nancy’s class was finished we decided to drive up into the Cascades on WA504 (The Old Spirit Lake Highway) and see what we could see.  To make a long story short, we saw a lot.  Since a new front was moving in, the scenery changed every few minutes.  Here are a few of the shots I took.20161020_1608 2 v shot Panorama ns email.jpg20161020_113823(0) ns email.jpg20161020_150955 c ns email.jpg20161020_154619 c ns email.jpg20161020_154824ns email.jpg20161020_155405 ns email.jpg

Nice work, Theo. I like the curvature in the panorama with the ‘mackerel sky’.
    Best wishes, Pete.

  3. Me too. Some times you can have too much mist, but not this time.
